YuleFest

It was YuleFest weekend at the Nordic Heritage Center in Seattle.  We don't do a lot of craft fairs, in fact, we don't really do any at all, as they are a ton of work, but we loved being a part of this one.

This yearly event is a great fundraiser for an institution that works hard to continue the heritage of Scandinavian culture in the Northwest, and besides, it is really, really fun.  Music, shopping, food, and more Nordic sweaters and blonde hair than you could ever imagine.

It really is a great way to kick off the holiday season--and I love that it is the weekend before Thanksgiving, making the holiday season last as long as possible, and a little less busy once December hits.

Disclaimer: The photos below are from my phone.  They're a bit blurry, grainy, and it was beginning to get dark when I finally got a chance to take some pictures.  I was just too busy all weekend to pull out the real camera.  It is fun to get a look at this fantastic old building, though, and take a peek at our booth.

Yulefest 2014

After taking a few years off, we will again be participating in the Yulefest celebration at the Nordic Heritage Museum in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle.

We are so excited for the opportunity, and are so looking forward to the food, decorations, holiday spirit, and Nordic camaraderie that this kind of event brings!

At our booth we will be selling our signature dishes, towels, pillows, and a variety of other fun products.  We will also have a limited quantity of all natural, and wonderfully scented Alpine Hills Soap.  They are the most fantastic soaps, and they make great gifts.

We will be located in the new, outside tent area in the parking lot of the Museum.
